George III 'spade' Guinea [or half guinea] [poorly] made into a charm.
IIRC, the Guinea was a 21 shilling piece.

That is a gold Guinea or Half Guinea of George III, those were issued from 1787-1799.

So, maybe $100? It's about 1/5 oz.

unless it is a key date rarity and given the condition it is in, I can't see it going for little more than melt, but I could be wrong.

Are you sure this is gold?
The British made many copies of the spade guinea in brass as tokens during Victoria's time.
