Need Help - Printing USPS Shipping Label from PayPal

If I use this feature do I still have to:

1. Wait in line at the post office?
2. Fill out the green delivery confirmation slips?
3. Fill out insurance slips?
4. Can I give the boxes and envelopes to my mailman?

I haven't sold much on eBay, so this has been a manual process for me.

Thanks,

Mikeimage

It's an awesome service, and it's cheaper. Confirmation is only 14 cents compared to 69 or 79 at the post office. Plus, you can use it anytime on any package, not just something you sold on ebay.

One more question - how many ounces is a card + screw down + padded mailer?

That's the only thing, you need a scale to weigh the packages for online postage, or you need to know what they will weigh.

I don't have a scale, but when I went to my post office I simply made a note of the weight of each package I was mailing over the course of a few trips there. Knowing how many psa cards were inside the mailer or box. I package the same way all the time so it was easy to make a small chart with the diff. weights for 1, 2, 3, PSA cards per package, etc....

You will save a ton of time and money purchasing postage thru paypal. The delivery conf. is only 14 cents as opposed to 55/60 cents at the PO. Plus you can just drop your mailers in any mail box.

You can purchase insurance up to $500 online now too thru paypal.
    I love it.

I tried that a couple times but both times the mailers got cut and crushed and the cards inside mutilated. You may be able to get away with it with a top loader, but I wouldn't try it any more with a slab. If you put it into any mailbox, they will try to send it through the sorting machine. I suggest printing out the postage then scheduling a pickup or making a quick stop at the post office and drop off your packages at the Automated Postal Center bin.

It depends, but my single cards plus bubble envelope plus toploader and cardboard weighs in at just under 3 ounces, so I pay the 3 ounce rate. If you have a meat scale in your kitchen you can weigh it, or take your first package to the PO.

a psa graded card in with bubble mailer is 2 oz.

...and i highly recommend using the service. as many have stated, easy to use, anytime, cheaper for delivery confirmation, etc...

i also use stamps.com for APO and international addresses.

    Thanks,
