Another entire country vanishes from Krause?
Indian States - Tripura. An independent kingdom until unification with India in 1949. I know they made coins, and I know they used to be listed in Krause, because I have one, and it's got "KM 406" written on the 2x2. Here's mine:

A 1 rupee coin dated 1337 local calendar, or 1930 AD. It's not the prettiest or finest-struck coin, but it's one of my OFECs and I want it back.
Tripura doesn't seem to be in the 4th ed. 1800's volume either. Surely they haven't ignominiously dumped the entire country into the Unusual World Coins book? Say it ain't so, Joe.
Can someone with a 1900's 34th ed., 1800's 5th ed. or access to Numismaster please look up the country index and tell me they've re-instated it? If they haven't, then this is another entry for LordM's Thread of Oblivion

Some coins seem to drift to Krause's "Unusual World Coins" catalog too.... Perhaps it's migrated there...?

I just got the 5th edition 1801-1900 and Tripura is listed under "India-Independent Kingdoms" Pages 562-563.
Additionally, KM#406 is attributed to an 1808, 2 ANNAS of the Madras Mint. Silver, 1.4800 g, 16.4mm and no portrait. (Page 701, 5th Ed.)
Tripura coins were minted more as presentation pieces (commemoratives) rather than monetary pieces and were minted in low numbers not intended for circulation. according to Krause.
to be related to staying politically correct but at any given time any country can
be listed almost anywhere under any flag that ever flew over it or any of its parts
and with any spelling.
Usually the index works if you can figure out what country it is. It's not in the 2007.
A lot of times these old countries reemerge.
