    I really feel Torre shoulda put him back in there...because you're right, now he's got this hangin' around in his head til the next time (if there is a next time) he pitches. If he woulda gone back out there a few more innnings, he could have put it behind him. Yes, I realize he could have continued to give up runs, but at least he would have had a chance (pardon the pun) Now what do you have? A shell-shocked pitcher. Damn, and we coulda used another arm.

    I agree. Young pitchers should be given the chance to regain their confidence with at least a few outs.
