1909 VDB ODD information needed

I saw a 1909 Lincoln graded on ebay by PCGS It read
1909 VDB MS64 RED
PC-3, DDO FS-1102
(FS 12.1)

This one went for $960. I have an 1909 VDB NGC65 RED DDO thats FS 12.1 but its not attributed on the label.

Anybody know what PC-3, FS 1102 Means? The seller did not know.

Thanks

Simply, there are two 1909 DDO. Type 1 and type 2. The type one is needed for the registry and type 2 is not. The person who bought this coin at $900 + dollars was probably thinking it was a Type 1. Even though the seller was very clear it was not. But even it was a type 1, its is not worth $900!

PCGS price guide has the type 1 at $1250. Considering how few I have seen I think this may be cheap.

    Collectorcoins-
FS-1102 is the latest number for the FS-012.1, 1909 VDB DDO, type 2. Some people have said that it's rarer than the type 1, but it does not command the same price. If you have a '09 DDO and it's not so listed as such, it's worth while to resubmit and have it attributed. MS65 would be among the hidher of those graded. Mike

another case in which the rarer is not valued ...

    evryones aware of the...

1960 proof small over large date ...........................................total population = 92 in all grades........in proof 67 red.... valued at $1350.00
1960 proof large over small date..........................................TOTAL population = 91 in all grades........in proof 67 red.... valued at $1350.00

    but .......look at this!....

    1960 proof Tripled die obverse...(Large/Large/Small date)..total population = 17 in all grades........in proof 67 red.... valued at $400.00

this is hard to believe at those numbers.
i could believe it more if there were 3 or 4 hundred.....BUT THERE'S ONLY 17!imageimage

Thanks for all the information. Anybody has an idea what a Type 2 in NGC65 red is worth?
