Did any one see the CW article about Brian Fanton's resignation not being "official"?
From the Beth Deisher, 4/30/07 article:
"Although American Numismatic Association Governor Brian E. Fanton notified the ANA of his decision to resign from the board effective April 1, he will continue to be a member of the policy setting board with full voting rights until the board acts upon his resignation..."
"Fanton told coin world April 13 that he was unaware that he is still a member of the board, pointing out that he had received no communication from the ANA since he notified the board of his resignation decision."
Geez, the power games continue. You can't even quit without their permission now.

Pretty bad that a board member can't even resign unless they allow him to - look, if one resigns, then that resignation is valid - period.

Just in time for the installation of the new board.

I noticed that too Rick, but still thought the whole thing sounded a bit crazy.
