Wife was at target today and bought me 2 boxes of topps

!st pack? Jeter.........................:-) Im a month too late though. No biggie Im not sure I could sell it at the hype prices.

She bought a 9.99 box and a 19.99 box.

I buy for the previous years award winners. I also got the Verlander and Mourneu.

Off to rip now ............wish me luck!

Me too. I don't collect modern but I saw single packs of Heritage today at Target so I bought one. I got one ref. of a guy I never heard of /1958. Still fun though. Love the '58 design.

I think owning one for hobby value - since it made the news is value enough for me.

I haven't bought any this year since I overloaded on Heritage.

Regular Topps and Topps Fan Favorites is where I've pulled decent autos also.

Like when Buehrle threw his no hitter the other nite, I remembered I had this auto card.

I guess i did alright. I got a Jeter and some mantles. I also got 2 cards that i needed for my collection.

lmk if you are going to collect the williams stuff. it basically is about his 41 season, not sure how many cards make up the set but they are in each box.

they are cellophaned packs with the box. the 1999 box pack you get 4 or 5 and the 999 box you get 2 cards in the pack.
