Just cherried this coin and got it today. Here is a link to the auction. 1917-S BUFF

I only paid $7.00 with the shipping and insurance!! What do you all think?

    Looks like a 2 feather to me, nice pickup.

    I look a lot for 2 feather buffalos. Thought I had one, looked perfect. it was a fine/VF and I was gonna get that sucker. Pic was aweful but still looked good enough to tell me 2 feathers. I asked seller for another pic, a close up, they obliged and it was not a 2 feather .... DARN.

    So what do you do about the no date? Are you going to try to pull it up? Leave it alone?

    Yes they do as I understand it, but don't you have to have an example of one with date showing? If you want I can look up pops... what year(s) did those 2 feathers appear... I know it was result of an overlypolished die.
