Can A Peace dollar have a die crack and not be considered a VAM?

I just bought a 22 P Peace and noticed a die crack all the way across the bottom of the neck and into the fields on the obv. I am not a vam guy but would like to note it if it is a Vam. Thanks for any input

All Peace and Morgan dollars are VAMs. The question is whether the crack is large enough to form a die break to warrant it's own
independant VAM designation.

For example, VAM-1 is the normal die for 1923 Peace dollars, no doubling or unusual features. VAM-1C is a die break on the reverse (normal die, VAM-1, letter 'C' added as a sub-variety).

This is the most common place for a die crack (i.e., demonstrative of how the metal flow was most likely to tear apart a die) on a Peace dollar. I assume it looks like a smile going across most of the coin, cutting through the tip of the neck, then merging with the neckline for a while. By itself, unless there is a piece of die missing (a die break), this wouldn't indicate a specific VAM number.
