1990 Leaf Series II box.....
I'm a regular on the Coin Forum and jump over here every now and then to see what's going on in my FIRST hobby(baseball cards).
Questions:
#1
Do any of you know what a sealed box of 1990 Leaf series II is going for these days. When I purchased it in 1992, they were pretty expensive. I know the last several years, like nascar stuff, baseball cards have taken sort of a downhill turn I hear.
#2
I have a 1953 Topps Mantle that I bought back in 1990. Maybe a 1 or 2 possibly by todays grading standards. There was no grading service when I bought this one, and seems like that's the new fad, like slabbing coins in plastic. Any idea on the value of this without me getting it out of the safe?
#3
Other than 10's of thousands of other cards and such, I have the complete set of the 1991 Topps Stadium Clum special membership cards and card sized medals. Nolan Ryan I believe. I have not seen them in years so I can't remember half that kinda stuff. Any market for this sort of thing.
I stopped collecting in 1994, so all that stuff has been put up since.
Any thought I would appreciate........thanks
wes

2. A psa 1 (#200099815436) got $415, another got $450 (#330107583153), and a raw one (180102686531) that looks like a PSA 1 got $260
3. not much for the members only set, do not know about the medal though. Not sure what they are.
1953 Mantle is probably worth $400 - $600, depending on condition.
1991 Topps Stadium Club is essentially worthless. Maybe $10-$20, if you can find a buyer
Well, the news on the 1990 Leaf Box is very depressing to say the least. I think I have over $200 in it. Seems like the packs were selling for $8-$10/pack way back when. Oh well, you win some, you lose alot more.
The news on the Mantle is a little more comforting.
Thanks guys.
Will try to take pics of that Mantle to see if ya'll think it's worth sending in.
