Question for jimq112 on Global Priority

Jim, I hear that the USPS will discontinue Global Priority after 5/06/07. This is my favorite service shipping to Canada (4 -6 business days) because of cost $4.25 for small, and $7.50 for large and tracking # is included. Do you know why they're discontinuing this and/or will they be offering something comparable to this service? I hate to use Registered Mail to Canada because it's more expensive; it's slow up to 3 weeks for delivery, and it's a pain with that gum tape. Although it looks like that may be the only choice left to be covered by Paypal to Canada. Any thoughts or other info you can share?
