Bermuda

Anyone know if there is a Mint in Bermuda? Or do they get their stuff made in the UK?

AFAIK, Bermuda coins are minted by the British Royal Mint.

Well I just got confirmation of what was described as a "very nice coin shop" in the capital of Hamilton. image

From 1975 to 1985 they were made by the Franklin Mint, and there are a couple of recent NCLT issues that have been struck in Switzerland with a CHI mintmark. (According to Krause.)

Bermuda was actually the first country to issue a commemorative 25c. coin program - in 1984,which depicts the Coats-of-Arms of the Bermudian Parishes as well as Bermuda itself.I'm not sure if those 25c. coins were circulating ones like the Canadian 1992 Provincial 25c. coins & the American 50 States & Territories Quarters though.

    I recently picked up a Bermudian 2003 25c. coin,which I didn't have before.
