Starting with the 1986 rack first.

Oh yeah!!!! Do you know that the Dallas Cowboys were going to draft him and would have because the team in front of them didn't want Rice. So the 49ers traded up one spot in front of Dallas. Another reason to hate.

Panel one, not too shabby. Got a Walter Payton that's a little OC. The cards are all 75/25 centering wise, but if you're a Cowboys fan, it was a homerun. I managed Cliff Harris, Robert Newhouse, Preston Pearson, Danny White, Roger Staubach & Too Tall Jones. I think all but 3 cards were Cowboys.

You lost me with the 87s, but everything else was great. The Rice made it worth while I think. If you could pull a few decent PSA 10s, you did great. Nice going.

The Rice should be a solid 9. But I've had some really, really nice ones that came back 8's, so tough to say. If it does make a 9 I'll be ecstatic since I need one.

I'll have to see what PSA 9/10 1979's sell for. There's a couple that are very nice, but they are no-namers so might not be worth the grading fees if they do miss that magical 10 mark.

The Sims I currently own is an 8. If this one comes back an 8 or a 9, I'll have an 8 for sale for sure.

I always loved that John Jefferson card. I used to be a huge Chargers fan growing up, after Fouts graduated from Univ of Oregon and went on to San Diego. Old Chuckie Muncie, Jefferson, Joiner, Winslow. Awesome

Actually the scan makes the corners look much worse than they really are. And if you measure it up it's 46/54 LR and 52/48 TB. The corners are fantastic and there isn't a single print defect anywhere. It makes my current 8 look like a weak 7. It's probably going to come back an 8, but it will replace my current 8 if that's the case. I really would like a 9 though.

As for the Sims, I need to get my current 189 card sub back, sorted and sold before I can send in my pending 350 card (and growing) submission... I'm guessing I'll have the Sims back sometime in September. <shrug>

I went through the pop reports and actually pulled out 16 cards that have 0 or 1 10 so far. I think 6 of them have a very good shot at 10's and hopefully the others, which have very outside shots, can be the slower moving gazelles of the group and take the 9's.

It's a weird strategy but seems to work for me.

FavreFan - Do you want the Packers from every year or just a certain year?

Boy, your right. i looked at this thread earlier at work. I just measured it with my calipers at home and its closer to centered than I had originally thought. My bad.

No worries. Scans do weird things to cards sometimes. It does look kinda jacked in the scan though. I had to look at it under 8x zoom in paint and count up the pixels.

I just counted up the batch I have sitting here again, 337 now and I have another 30 or so raw cards coming in from various sources...Maybe at 4 or 500 I can swing a deal and get a quarter off.
