Anyone know the current whereabouts of the defaced 1792 Pattern Disme J-10?

It sold raw in a Goldberg auction a couple of years ago and I've seen it around the bourse floor since - but I've lost track of who owns it or if it ever re-appeared in another auction.

Are you talking about the one certified as Poor-1? Last time I saw it Tony Terranova had it, maybe ask him.

Heck it was on my website for a spell and in fact I posted it on the BST board here but nobody ( from here ) even inquired.

Then it disappeared.

It was in a PCGS "Genuine" holder with no numerical grade, correct?

I do remember it being in a PCGS "Genuine" holder, John, and may be the only coin so encapsulated.
