Coins 'handled' by famous numismatic personalities

I recently bid and won coins from the estate of the late Fred Pridmore. The coins were nice but one of the coins has a very distinct fingerprint. I am undecided about returning the lot and might even keep the coins with me without messing it up (dip, NCS or otherwise). I paid a premium on the coins and cannot get the provenance on the slab if I decide to grade it. I am comfortable with the coin, but am wondering what would you folks do in this case. Would you keep the coin with the famous fingerprint on (it might very well be the print of the guy!!) or get rid of it or try to mend (:-) ) it?

  • Tough answer, I have a few finger printed but nice coins, some in slabs, but still a nice coin IMHO:

These both have a finger print:

The meaning of life ? I don't know but I am sure that coins have something to do with it.
