  • Wow, 31 Clemens - 21 9's and no 10's. Why am I not surprised...

What are your thoughts? Any comments? (or are you still recovering from the shock image )

I really need just 1, and there should have been . I have 100 raw clemens cards that were pulled from vending back in 1987 and those were the best centered all with mint corners. And the 1969s all but the PSA 6 card were pulled out of a wax pack from me only a year ago. All the 8s should bee nines. I feel all of these were graded 1 grade lower and Im almost dead on when I send them cards. This one seemed like they were all 1 grade lower.
Not that bad but could have been better

If you want is a PSA 10 Clemens, you can sell 10 of the PSA 9's and buy one.

Yea I know but one of them should have been a 10. Members? Im not a rookie when it comes to grading Ive been doing it for 8 years now and this one was the worst.

or you crack out those 9's that you got and resubmit them - bound to be 1 or 2 10's there.

I find about one in every 6 or 7 subs is pretty much one grade lower than I was expecting across the board. Just part of the gamble of submitting to PSA. I'd crack anything you think has a shot at a 10 and resubmit.

If the grade does not fit, then you must resubmit. I probably wouldn't send that many of the same card at once in the first place. Typical sub I've seen posted: A 10 for the lone Lou Whitaker but not one of out 30 Clemens rookies. Is PSA more picky on key cards?

I agree - PSA is very tough on key cards. Also, I believe that you met GOD - I know his handywork anywhere. He has nailed me on a few occasions - which really sucks because you just p*ssed $200+ down the drain on grading fees.
