Why should Russia be such a hot spot for the darkside when they are still in the darkages arresting oppositon persons like Garry Gasparov and others at a recent demonstration?

Kasparov is opposing Putin, which puts his and his party in the same league as the National Bolshevik Party. "The Other Russia" movement was warned not to proceed with their rally, they went ahead and 170 people were arrested. I don't see what the big whoop is, anyway.

Russian coins are hot because (certain) Russians have a lot of money. Russia is exporting huge amounts of oil, gas, metals, etc. and there is some real wealth at the top. Unfortunately, the politics there has begun to move in the direction of the bad old days.

Ahh, oil, wealth and greed in a not very full disclosure type society.

I should sell into a market like that.

True, but at least the Trotskyites don't control the government there.
