Grading an Error card

If I submited an error card for grading would it be graded or rejected as being an error card? I'm guessing that the error has nothing to do with the perfection of the card. Thus a graded 10 error card would reap the same financial benefit as that of the regular card? I do not submit cards for grading - just curious. I know a lot of collectors here in this forum are quite familiar with this process!! Thanks, Rich

I have a no foil Drew Bledsoe Stadium Club PSA 9 RC. It says "NO FOIL" in the third line slot on the PSA label.

It would get graded. Noted on the Flip (label) as long as the grading company is aware of the error.

The card with the most value would be the version that is more scarce.

  • I put in a Grant Hill RC error (Hoops RC with no foil) and stated it was an Error - No Foil on the submission form, yet the card came back slabbed exactly the same as the regular card. I guess it depends on who you get.
