If this is a scam, you have to admire the effort . . .

Super lot!

Low feedback seller, 0 feedback bidder, but quite the creativity if it's a scam. Three sports, four decades, two grading companies, some mid-grades, some high grades, even a "duplicate". It's only missing the Montana rookie.

This guy should really think about listing these seperately. Nice lot if real and at least he is accepting paypal now.

Could be legit. He takes paypal. If you think it might be a scam, ask him if you can pick them up in person.
No clue to the zero feedback bidder. I doubt he's shilling his own auction at $5K. E-bay fees would kill him.

  • If you look at the feedback he has left for others you can see where some of these are probably ones he's bought off of ebay in the past, I would say it's probably not a scam, but who knows.

I do reserve the right to pull these items if I don't get a good price only to post them all individually later, but I thought it'd be nice for a collector to get it all in one nice package and for me to get a bunch of mortgage money in one nice package as well image.

    Nice.

If he does not get his price he is going to end the auction. Does he realize that much of his bids could come with 5 minutes or less to go?

why not set a reserve then? or an even higher starting point?

Not a guy I'd want to do business with.

    Not a scam.

First thing I looked at was the feedbacks for jabel001. Is only 25 with 100%, no big deal. But!!! hasn't had any new feedback
since Nov-25-03. If your really serious about bidding on this, I would try to make contact with the seller first. Maybe get a phone
number and actually talk to the person. My friend just got scammed on something like this for $1000. Guy had a 16 rating 100%
and did take PayPal. And if you look, your only protected up to $200 on buyer protection, just like my friends auction he won.
He payed instantly with PayPal and never got a response from the guy. Waited and still no emails or anything. This auction really
scares me. Sorry. My friend is still trying to work with PayPal to get things worked out.
