help with 81-82 Topps Basketball

I know that they put these cards out in the regions east, mid-west and west but when you buy a box or a cut case of any of the regions do you get the common cards at the beginning of the set? If you do just get the region, how were the opening cards distributed? Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks

    a box contains the base 66 in addition to the region you are purchasing. the cut case only contains the regional cards, not the base 66.

    Thank you for the reply David. So if you get a cut case of these you will be getting over 100 cards of each player? Not sure demand would ever catch up to supply.

    centering is the main issue i've had with cut cases. if there on, there all on...and if there not....well.

    there will be a few corner dings based on the way they are packed.
