One of the ugliest sets in the history of topps...will you even get your money back?

    agree:

That's probably one of the better pulls you could get and you'll probably break even. Topps proves again they cannot and should not produce a "High end" product. Bowman sterling this year is as close as they've ever come.

Looks an awful lot like a cross between Zenith, Leaf Certified, Pristine and Triple Threads.

Nice pull on the Bush though.
  • First I have seen of them and you ain't kidding.
    UGLY!

    I will take this instead

While Exquisite is a lot more, National Treasures is close in price to the Topps Paradigm but looks 100x better to me.
    What a bomb!

I couldn't wait for this product to be released. I had a case on pre-order from the dealer I always use - when I saw the cards, I asked if he could sell my case to someone else. It reminds me too much of Triple Threads, and I lost enough money on that product this year.

  • Thanks all, even if Topps Paradigm is not getting any love in the house, I welcome and respect alls input.
I picked up a 4 box case from LRCARDS.com and sold one box to a friend and opened this one.
Should I push my luck opening another one or sale the other 2 Boxes?

    Thanks, Mike

Are there any patches in this stuff? What the freak does topps do with all their patches....three of those cards look like
cards you could pull from bowman's best! 5 month delay for this??? Lurashi said there would be new and innovative
cards in this set.....where are they? You could spend half the money and get a triple auto out of triple threads and have a
card that looks 10 times better. What a freaking joke.

    sell sell sell

Mike, I'd bet you hit the case card with that Bush auto - and I have seen box breaks that are absolutely terrible from this product. If I were you, I'd sell the other boxes.

Topps are cutting their own wrists by using the sticker autos.
  • I'll be popping my last box tonight. I'll post results Sunday.

    Thanks, Mike

OUCH...will you even get 100 bucks back on that break? Brutal. The more I see the more I laugh.

I will never buy another product again with sticker autographs...I detest them. I wouldn't pay $1 per pack let alone what they are asking. Here's a thought....do something different!! how about cut autographs of the tough to find HOFers.... At least the Playoff National Treasurse (sp?) had a cut autograph of Bert Bell.

At least the UD Excuisite has the autographs on the cards, the card stock they use is too glossy - the autograph tends to bubble and fade. I saw someone at a card shop bull an auto'd rookie and the auto had already bubbled and looked terrible. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer an autograph on a cardboard surface...

Mike - I tried to warn you! Thanks for sharing the results and scans here, though - I appreciate it.

One main issue I have noticed with UD Exquisite is the condition of the cards is awful. Chipping, dinged corners, peeling, all this from fresh from the box cards! And, these cards are not cheap. Yet, the quality control seems to be terrible. You can't send them back to UD either, as most everything is low numbered (well, you could send them back, but you might get replacements sometime in 2027).

  • I'm very pleased with the outcome of my breaks, 2 of today's best running backs and last nigh a HOF QB. Plus some RC, that only time will tell if they make a name for themselves.

    Thanks, Mike
