Just Ordered Some Football Racks From BBCE

Should be here by middle of next week. Of course I'll do a live rip when I get them. image

Nothing too exciting, but should be fun anyway.

2 x 1979 Topps Football Unopened Rack Pack (Earl Campbell, Lofton, Newsome & Doug Williams RC's)
1 x 1981 Topps Football Unopened Rack Pack (Montana...and a few others for various registries)
1 x 1986 Topps Football Unopened Rack Pack (Rice, Smith, Reed and a some others for registries)
8 x 1987 Topps Football Unopened Rack Pack (Pretty much just looking for a nice Zimmerman here. Any others are gravy) @ 2.50/rack, why not. Not to mention it has rc's of Kelly, Cunningham, O'Neal, Haley and 2nd year of Rice.

I was going to grab a rack of 83, 84 and 85 but wanted another 79 rack and a couple extra 87 racks instead. Plus I just ripped boxes of 1980, 1982 and 1988.

Next time I think I'll get the others that I missed. (83, 84 & 85)

good luck. i just picked up an 82fb wax box and 84t rack. i pulled an oc elway. most of the cards in the rack had a bad surface...lots of snow. it was a bad rack conditionwise but yielded the elway so i can't complain. image

    Thanks,

I cannot believe how fast BBCE delivers. I ordered two boxes on Tuesday and received them on Wednesday. I love that place!

I'm expecting to see the stuff by middle of next week. Steve always ships nice product and always has fair pricing and fantastic shipping. You'll rarely if ever hear a complaint about him.

You guys are wasting your money. I would never waste my time ripping unopened packs from the 70s and 80s.

i had bought some of the same racks recently myself. i did get a zimmerman if i remember. over all condition was fine as long as they were grocery racks. i did a 78 to 87 bust. got a nice singletary rc. otherwise nothing too great. but the condition of the 79's were awesome.

It's the overly enthusiastic wierd looking Kobra Kai kid from "Karate Kid" who yells: "GET HIM A BODY BAG! YEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!" while Daniel's getting his a$$ kicked. Lways one of my favorite scenes in the history of American cinema. Very underrated cheesy movie.

I wish Steve would take his company public - I'd buy stock in his company. image

No kidding. An honest seller with integrity who sells a very desirable product and gets orders out on a first come first serve basis? What a novel concept. image

Steve is the best though. I only wish I had more $$$ to spend with him on a regular basis, it's so much fun opening this stuff!

I did too! You don't suppose the fact that he's in IL and I'm in western KY might have something to do with that, do ya? Maybe Steve gets a special discount kinda deal from FedEx where they'll do overnight for two day service price or something.

Anyway, once I get the funds (probably this coming Christmas season) I want to get his "stater run" of Topps football sets 1980-93 (he's missing 1991 for some reason).
