A new card variation...1974 #23 Norm Snead

It appears there are 2 different 1974 #23 Norm Snead cards. PSA does not have a variation noted in the set reg or the pop report.

Has anyone noticed this before?

some of the players photos were different from the regular 1974 cards

I just looked at my set it has the "in action" shot.

But that other Snead card looks very familiar.

The regular Topps issued cards are the horizontal and All-Pro ones.
The cards issued by Parker Brothers are the vertical, posed shots.

For the cards that do NOT feature a different photograph, the stats on the are what gives the cards identity away. Otherwise, its hard to tell the difference.

Hall of Famer Rayfield Wright's 1974 Topps regular and 1974 Topps Parker Brothers.
It's hard to read but the Regular Topps has 1973 stats on the back and the Parker Brothers card has 1972 Stats. The Fronts are identicle.

All of the cards from the Pro Draft game also have a double asterisk prior to the copyright notice on the bottom back.
