<< <i>Could someone tell me how the Pinnacle Dufex cards were distributed? Were they inserts with the regular packs?
Thanks for your help! >>
I have a set of both the 1994 Baseball and Football. If memory serves they were inserted at a rate of 1/4 packs if the Hobby, and 1/2 packs in the retail Jumbos. The retail was easy to search, I had the local kids trying to sell me 30 or 40 at a time. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I stopped collecting for a spell after 1991, so I'm not familiar with these sets. I appreciate your insight!
If you have Puckett qu's or want to chat Puck cards, just send me a PM. I've been buying a fair bit of raw to grade in the next modern bulk special if you are looking for any graded stuff.

That is a very nice, very hard to build set (and certainly much more interesting than those Artist's Proofs, which while much rarer just had a boring gold stamp) you got there. You should be proud.
I wasn't sure which set you were referring to. When I think of dufex, I think of the '93 baseball "Coopertowns" dufex. This was a 30 card set that was not released through retail means. They were supposedly a special, limited run handed out to SCAI members.

Brian48,
I didn't qualify the set because I had no idea what existed. The Puckett Master Set Registry has the '93 Cooperstown listed with a weight of 10! That would seem to make it a hard-to-find card, which agrees with the limited distribution you mentioned.

I'm learning something from this thread.
Thanks, everyone!
