Submitting larger cards

I want to submit a couple of 52 Topps and several 54 Bowman cards. Are they $8 to grade? Do I use Cardsavers IV's? I cannot find penny sleeves at Columbia Sportscards, so I guess sleeves are not available?
I also have some 51 Bowmans, and have them in Cardsavers I's and penny sleeves. Is that correct?
Do I need to put the player name on the submission form, or will the card number be enough?
Thanks. First post and this will be my first submission.

Yes, you have to put down ALL the information pertinent to each particular card,
but, you can abbreviate, plus, the value...which with this months special can be
no MORE THAN $75 per card.
Hope this helps

What I have probably should not be submitted in Cardsavers I's. I have 52 Topps (2 5/8 X 3 3/4), and 54 Bowman (2 1/2 X 4). There are Cardsavers IV that are about postcard size. Are these what PSA wants these cards submitted in? I assume since they are bigger than standard cards, they would be priced like "tall boys" at $8.
use CS I's, they are big enough for your cards. For the sleeves....you can buy vintage card sleeves for the 52T's and 51 Bowmans. The sleeves measure 2 3/4 X 3 15/16. Not sure where you're getting your Bowman measurements (4"???). They should be 2 1/16 X 3 1/8.

OK, I see what you're saying on the Cardsavers I's. The width of the larger cards is about the same as standard cards, and the length should be fine for all of them.
Cravetopps - I looked at the 54 Bowmans again. They are 2 1/2 X 3 /4. The 51's are the smaller cards.
I'm still wondering about the price to have the larger cards graded. Since they need a bigger case, isn't the price $8 for bulk?
Thanks, guys.
This months special is 1953 and earlier at $8 per card with a 25 card minimum. Cards have to value under $75 (they usually allow higher priced cards that you know will not grade high enough to reach the $75 value) - Your 1954 Bowman cards would have to be on a seperate invoice.
Bulk price for 54 - 59's is $7 a card - $75 max value - 50 card minimum.
Bulk price for 53 and earlier is $10 a card - $75 max value - 25 card minimum.

Always looking for 53 Topps Baseball and "stuff"
Go to "Submission Center" in box on left side of home page (blue letters)
Click on "Fee schedule for PSA services"
Your cards will probably fall into the "Regular" service type. $15 a card. 10 day turnaround. Value under $500 per card.
Monthly specials and bulk are best deal.

I have some nice 51 and 54 Bowan commons - although several of them have what appear to be two wax stains about half an inch from the tops and bottoms. The stains are about half an inch long and a quarter inch wide. The front of the cards are beautiful - color, corners, centering. I don't know if this will knock them down to a 6 or 7 at most. Maybe I should just submit one card and see what happens?
I would guess I have some that are strong 7's and 8's, and maybe a few 9's. 7, 8, and 9's are $35, $75, and $400. If I submit them all as bulk, what happens if a few are graded at 9? What if more than a few come in at 9's?
This is my first time sending in cards. I'm willing to pay what is fair, but I don't want to waste money, either - a few hundred cards could add up to thousands of dollars for grading.
I suppose I should just pick out my 51 and 54 8's the best I can and send them in as bulk this month.
Any advice is appreciated.
Steve
Also, if your commons are 7,8,9 material, and 8's go for $75, then you would be ok at a $75 bulk special for all of them. They generally want you to use the PSA 8 pricing as the standard because you couldn't accurately predict your 9's.
