Trimmed or not?

I just got some 1958 cards in that I bought off Ebay and was looking at them trying to decide which ones to send off for grading, this one has what looks like a razor blade cut off the top edge. What is the actual measurement for cards supposed to be, this one measures about 2.503" wide by 3.512" tall.

  • Looks ok to me but the stain is a concern. If it was trimmed, someone may have been trying to cut out the stain

The "cut" looks like "damage," but it does not look
    "trimmed," to me.

The "cut" might even be a thumbnail; somebody trying to
    scrape the stain off. (?)

    My guess is: Not Trimmed.

If untrimmed, it would be a PSA 8(ST) I think.

  • Beautiful card. Doesn't look trimmed to me--that damage you see to the edge just looks like common chipping at the borders, which is typical of 1950's cards. The stain would not be a reason to keep that out of my collection, that's for sure.

The stain is a stain but the card looks to measure up - most of the value is in the appearance of the front, which is very nice.
