Has this card been to the doctor?

I've scanned it and zoomed in on the top edge, which is posted below.
The card, a 1968 Topps baseball card. The other 3 edges look fine, and don't look like this at all.
I own about 50 68s, so I don't know if this is a typical "rough cut". I've seen other rough cuts from this set, but they don't look like this.

no.
Gives people a better sample to base an opinion.
THe thickness doesn't change, however, the texture is totally off. The other 3 edges are very straight and clean. The top edge is rather rough, however, rough-cut cards typically are. The thing about this one is, the rough cuts I usually see are kinda like "fuzzy" edges, and are at least straight, this one doesn't look straight, it looks jagged twards the middle.
However, perhaps I just haven't seen enough rough cuts from the 60s.

To me, those look more like depressions (hits/bumps/grabs/touches)
than they do cuts/trims/sanding.
Give the card a slight tap on the top and I bet the card aligns with the thing-a-ma-jigs.

The card's not a perfect rectange, unfortunatly. More of a slight parallelogram.
If you're wondering, it's a PSA 8.

Not to be critical of your card but how is that an 8 with the dents and it being DC?

The dents you're pointing out are actually nasty scratches on the holder, NOT on the card.
Any good advice on how to get those scratches off the case (besides sending the card in for re-holdering)?

The novus stuff they sell on E-bay is pretty good.
but its encased in a coffin, so the grade is always right
