The Phillies FINALLY held a lead tonight and did not lose the game. Congrats to Geary, Gordon and the others on not blowing a
game for us!

    Strange talking about "must win" games two weeks into the baseball season but tbis game tonight the Phillies really must win, and I think they win it easily. That last game was a pathetic display by the Phillies, and they had a day and a half to stew about it. Even the "no talent" relief pitchers have to be miffed, and I think will stepup their play at least for this game. If this Phillies team has any heart at all they win this game going away...if not...I shudder to think about the rest of this season.

    But I ain't even that worried about it because the Phillies beat the Mets by 5 runs tonight in a laugher.

    It's still REALLY early in the season, so don't fret.

    Also don't forget that my 'Stros started the season 15-30 only to end up in the WS two years ago image
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    I just hope Gordon will get a few innings! He has gotten me next to nothing in Fantasy points so far....WTF!!!!

    Eaton makes the final out in the inning two consecutive times with the bases loaded. That's a rare one.

    3 - 1 after 4 - I'll take it. That averages out to a Phillies victory by 5 runs as predicted.

    At the end of the day, the Sillies are 2-6 and still next to last in the NL East, lucky for you guys the Nationals are there to prop you up!
