1972 football checklist for $1000?

I sold my 1972 football set last year but still keep fingers in it 'cause I want back in sometime. The first checklist #29 PSA 9 sold for a grand 6 or 7 weeks ago to Snake0120. A couple of weeks ago another sold for $290 and now a friend of mine picked up another for a mere $50.00.

I guess timing is everything. But a card droping $950 in only a month or so is nasty.

But you gotta admit, it's still a pretty rare card in that grade cuz one, how many kids collected football cards? Two, very few of those checklists survived being thrown in the garbage, being marked, or flipped.

Classic example of a guy who wants a card right now, and is willing to pay what ever it takes to get it.

Snake out bid me on a card recently, I reached a point where I let it go, he can have it right now. I just bought the same card off ebay from a guy for a 20% discount of that price.

who is snake, what does he collect? I think i bought something from him awhile back, seemed a decent fellow
