I collect PSA Packer cards and had this one on my watch list. Holy cow. What am I missing here?

Hard to understand, Probably a $4 or $5 dollar card.
Maybe the bidder thinks he is getting all four cards.

Your missing that 2 guys are in a pissing match, and right now the under bidder is a Steeler collector. 70's Steeler cards are HOT and if Stenerud made the Pro Bowl instead of Gerela in 1974 then that card would not go anywhere near that price.
