Since I am here in Wichita, I can sadly confirm that Mark Turgeon has left WSU for Texas A&M.

    Mark Turgeon is a college basketball coach. In a couple years he turned our team around, took us to the sweet sixteen last year. We will miss him.

    I guess I won't renew my season tickets now.....:^(

    Meteorite, this is a great opportunity for Turgeon. He inherits a good A&M team and gets to coach in the Big Twelve. I hope he does well.

    I live in the ICT as well. Too bad he left but who could blame him. Bring in Scott Sutton!

    why wouldn't you renew your season tickets because of the coach leaving? dunno, but I go to watch my team play, not the coach.

    edited to add: I know what your saying, but ya gotta stick with them through the tough times too.

    Not so sure about that. They lose Acie Law and Kavaliauskas and their top recruit, DeAndre Jordan, hasn't confirmed whether he will still come to A&M now that Gillispie has left.

    I am sure I will, was a little upset yesterday. At least I have signed team posters from the last couple years and some good memories. (Damn Missouri State...;^).

    What upsets me more is we lost our AAA team and they will be gone after this season.

    Mark, are the Wranglers still going to Arkansas. Heard something about the possiblility last year but didn't know if it was a done deal.
