One of a series of 2.25 B/W, medium format negatives I've been working on this weekend. Yogi's smile is the best. He's always so sincere. Here he was at a book promotion in 1960.

It's strange how Yogi just doesn't look like a professional baseball player at all. It seems more likely he'd be the owner of the bookstore.

I thought you guys might find this funny...
I get a question on my Berra listing tonight...
The guys says; "You should look at your photos before listing them! This is Casey Stengal and NOT Yogi Berra."
Now, this just pizzes me off. First, learn to spell Stengel's name. Second, the capital letters NOT were irritating. Third, the guy comes off like an authority and acts like I'm some wahoo. The old me would have verbally blasted him a new one, bought a plane ticket and paid him a personal visit, and hit him with a heavy object repeatedly until he apologized.
Instead, I told him to put the bottle down and to go give someone a hug. I'm growing as a person! For the record, we are 7 games into the season and I have not left the dugout ONCE to jaw with an umpire! I have stared at a couple from the top step, however...

I'm working on it. Stengal...what an IDIOT! I need a minute...
