Should restored cards get the Authentic label?

This is an auction for a T206 Plank PSA Authentic card. The card is restored, and was in a previous mastro auction and was not slabbed, but was indicated as restored. This current auction is also stated as restored.
Should a card that is restored be encapsulated as Authentic?

I think this is appropriate, and wish it was more widespread. It would be great if they detailed what it is that makes it ungradeable- in this case, it could say "Authentic- Restored" while another card might say "Authentic-Recolored" or "Authentic-Trimmed"

That is the way it should be done.
PSA disagrees.
The "authentic" designation should be at the
option of the owner of the card. If they do not
want it, they could opt-out.
The only reason I can think of not to want it,
is if the owner of the card was planning to
pass it off to an unsuspecting buyer.

I am of the same opinion. I do think there is a big difference between Restored and Trimmed, as one adds foreign matter to the card, and the other takes away from the card. I'm not saying one is better or worse than the other, but the distinction of "taking away" and "adding to" are important IMO.
On another note, I wonder how much the Plank card in the PSA Authentic holder will go relative to the first time the card sold sans holder. I'm guessing it will sell for less as one interested bidder (the original winner and now the seller) is no longer in the market bidding. But then again, the power of the PSA slab, even an Authentic slab, may increase the number of people interested in the card. Still, I'm guessing it ends at about $9K this time (it went around 11K last time).
