Something German: What Did I Just Buy?

It looks like it has a prayer inscribed on it, and I guess a representation of the Trinity on the other side? The edge is also inscribed:

WIE DIE VATTER, ALSO WIR, GLAUBEN UND BEKENNEN HIER



It is about the size of a US small cent, and appears to be made of silver.

Any help is appreciated!

looks to be the expulsion from Eden and the Last Supper and Crusifiction on one side, Or it could be Father , son and holy ghost representation as you suspect.
No doubt a prayer on the other side, Have you tried typing it into a german translator.

The trinity representation seems like a good guess. The bottom scene looks to me like Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles.

I am not sure what that is, but I really like it.

It has been along time since I have used German, but I think that the edge inscription says: Like the Father, we are also, believe and be recognized here.

How much and where did you find this?

etc...

On your piece, some of the words have been abbreviated, but the full text is included.
Very interesting piece!
