Catalog for baseball post cards?

Does anyone know of a catalog, or any other means for that matter, of identifying the year that team baseball post cards were made? Specifically, i'm looking the the late 1940s, early 1950s era. I can come CLOSE by finding other team photos that look similar, in 8 x 10 size, but this may not necessarily mean the post card was made the same year. The post cards, unless they're post-marked, don't really have any identifying information on them, as far as the year, but it seems like there ought to be a catalog somewhere for this.

There are a bunch of source's on the web to help you date the postcard. Usually the stamp box and the divide line are the keys. (as long as the postcard is origianl and not a reprint) I have my reference site on my other computer and iwill supply you with a link tomorrow. In the mean time try searching through this link. It will give you an idea. Joe

The postcard thread has been bumped up.
There may be some help in there.
