    Take care,

I also would have an interest in at least 8 of the cards. I would have an interest in a larger group of commons from the lower series if the price was right. My email is

    Dave and Marc,
Sounds great. I already have around 50 or so spoken for, however I am sure we can work out something. It would be very helpful if you would send me an email to shaneleo@aol.com, and let me know which cards that you would want. This will help me considerably.

Just got back from a 3-day trip guys--7 hour delay Columbus Ohio to Newark--travelling really sucks these days.

    Shane-still have the DiMaggio--interested in 52 Topps psa 7s.

Kevin--you're my hero--will contact you soon.

    Shouldabeena--got your Mayrose Cards--thank you.

Dave--thanks--and noone ever has the guts to put their real name-people love to attack and hide behind an alias.

    Will write more later.

Jim...I think that your foray into PSA 7's is going to raise the desirablity and raise the perceived value of all PSA 7's. For you and for the rest of us.

So, my congratulations on your unbelievable collection...and many thanks for increasing the value of all of our collections with one felt swoop!

    Nick,

I think you are giving me too much credit here.

You're deigning yourself to below PSA 8s? Does that now make you part of the armpit of the hobby?

TROLL, stay over at 54 we do not play those stupid games here.

    Good for you.

    Figure 8

    Figure eight as double four
Figure four as half of eight
If you skate, you would be great
If you could make a figure eight
That's a circle that turns 'round upon itself

    1 x 8 is 2 x 4
    4 x 4 is 2 x 8
If you skate upon thin ice
You'd be wise if you thought twice
Before you made another single move

    1 x 8 is 8, 2 x 8 is 16
    3 x 8 is 24, 4 x 8 is 32
    And 5 x 8 is 40, you know
    6 x 8 is 48, 7 x 8 is 56
    8 x 8 is 64, 9 x 8 is 72
    And 10 x 8 is 80, that's true

    11 x 8 is 88, an' 12 x 8 is 96
Now here's a chance to get off
    On your new math tricks
    'Cause 12 x 8 is the same as 10 x 8
    Plus 2 x 8
    80 plus 16: 96

    1 x 8 is 8, 2 x 8 is 16
    3 x 8 is 24, 4 x 8 is 32
    And 5 x 8 is 40, you know

    Figure eight as double four
Figure four as half of eight
If you skate, you would be great
If you could make a figure eight
That's a circle that turns 'round upon itself

Place it on it's side and it's a symbol meaning infinity

Did I start drinking again? Heck, who said I ever stopped?!!! image

Funny thing is ... I googled the School House Rock site to get the lyrics for Lillo's 8 song, and they have an audio set up where you can listen to some of the different songs. So now I've been humming "3 is a Magic number" for like the last two hours now.

    Mike,

I'm honored by the song and as usual completely mystified....but Mike has provided me with 2 complete PSA 10 sets--or at least in one case the critical cards t0--1960 Mayrose Franks and 1963 Stancraft.

    Wolfbear,

I will do the deal you proposed for the 63 Fleer Charger psa 9--please e-mail me.

image Wow, your still my hero Jim, I still cannot find a Mantle 51 Bowman PSA 8. A grade 8 and I would pass my old friend Levi in the Mantle Basic set and get to #5. One of these days. Jim

    Cheeks,

I'm sure you will find one--you have a wonderful Mantle set--you need the 51 Bowman in 8 --I need to upgrade my 8 oc to an 8--I like your chances better.

    Jim,

    I think it's gr8 that you've crea8ed a deb8 about your collecting fa8 ... on how you'll accumul8 your cards.

I can rela8 to your dropping a grade w8 based on having so much on your pl8.... because I'd personally ha8 to always have to gener8 nothing but str8 eight's.

Even though, I'm hoping you won't particip8 in this change that will dissip8 your long standing goal of 8.

It could devast8 the way we all ejacul8 over your cards

    Mike,

    Ha Ha.

You certainly are a unique character.

    Very original.

How about I limit my 7s to 30-40 per set just for 52, 53 and 55 Topps Baseball and 34 Goudey and do all the football in 8 or better??

By the way, looks like I will have another 60s fb set completion to announce thanks to the good will of a fellow 60s fb card enthusiast.

Congratul8tions ... in advance, on your next complete ALL 8's set!
