I do not understand why people bid $450 with no intent on paying

After my reminder:
"Hello- I am sorry it's been so long, I figured sellers would just give me a strike by now. In any case, I cannot pay for this item. "
Ticks me off!

That would make me a lil bit mad .
Especially the way we watch these things .
It's a whole " Other Life " for some .
Tell em what I always tell em .
"YOU'RE KILLIN ME GUY, you bought it . . . Don't make me come over there and crack you over the ^%$#*& head with it !"
BTW, this is the new gentler me.
Yea, I guess . . . .
Lessons learned I suppose .
LOL, what a coincidence , this is the new gentler me too .
There's lot's of deadbeats on ebay. I've heard every excuse in the world too of why they can't or won't pay and honor their bids.
I've been selling on ebay since 1998, from my experience
most of the deadbeats I've had were on 1980's cards. There are times when I sell cards from the 1980's of my own or on consignment. There were many non-payers on those listings. I'm not sure why either. Maybe younger buyers who don't feel obligated to complete the deal.
I mostly deal in 1950's thru 1980 graded cards, and from those years I've had very few deadbeats. It's like you're dealing with mature adults who collect in those era's.
Highest price item I sold that was reneged on on ebay was $760 for a Jordan RC sticker SGC 96. That was many years ago. It's never a good feeling at any price. And typically the second time you relist that item it seems to sell for much less.
<< <i>Sorry to hear that Wondo.

yes that sucks wondo, also agree the 2nd time you sell it, always less, had 1 item that went for 50% of the 1st time around.
John,
Nobody could have possibly paid u as sloooooooooo as me?
rd
P.S. John, I want to thank u for allowing me the opportunity to pay u over "5 installments" for well over 100 of the toughest PSA 10s and 9s for my set registry. It has been a pleasure working with u and not only does John (Wondo) come up with some great stuff for sale, he is a pleasure to work with.
