you know , this coin is still for sale .............one problem may be it do not have a CAC sticker ; as alot of this dealers inventory has.

Live by the sword -die by the sword : a dealers case full of CAC coins will make the one without a sticker stick out like a sore thumb .

<< <i>After getting some oxygen into my brain...

I would wager that this was a staged conclusion to this auction. Come on! An ebayer's first coin purchase is a $6500 BIN?!

I'll bet that the buyer is one of Tomaska's employee/in-laws, and that the BIN was staged just to save face as he is undoubtedly aware of this thread. And that quite soon, R&I will be telling Ebay that the coin was returned for refund.

RT will only be out the listing fee.

Keep an eye out and the coin will eventually resurface in a different auction venue, or will magically reappear in RT's inventory when he deems enuff time has passed for folks to have forgotten. >>

    what the ??

Since the auction has been removed I would say the story was B.S.

You see? The coin is magically back in RT's inventory and is currently featured in his CW ad and is on EBAY!

    Draw your own conclusions!!!

...........Could be because the N.T/A.T controversy in general rages on , and this piece is a prime example

or because I think it odd the coin is not CAC'd - when many of the dealers other coins for sale are

...................... or maybe it's pertinent that the coin did reappear and apparently did not sell as we were led to believe

or maybe being one of the most colorful and expensive MS 65 KEY DATE Franklin's on the planet bears close attention

................or maybe it's because every time I bring an old post to the top , someone's got to imply bewilderment over my motivation-

and I just wanted to see what fool would do so this time

Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

I just like the part where dorkkarl does the old "open BIG mouth and insert foot"...AGAIN image
Someone talks about mint sets and the toning and he goes on to say that he didn't mean them...he was only talking about business strikes and that proof coins were meant to be in holders and potentially tone.

Some may think that dorkkarl has some greater message, and once in awhile, what he says is, imho, accurate, but like so many others, he frequently spouts out ignorance and his own little meanderings and tries to convince others that he is some idiot savant.
No offense, dorkkarl, but you really should make sure you read carefully and know what you are talking about before jumping on your little tirades image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
