I would be the worst grader ever. I'd be giving 10s out like I worked at GEM, except for people who sent in like 300 '91 Donruss commons. If I had to examine that many commons from a crap set, I'd penalize the submitter with all kinds of bad grades. Basically, I'd be fired within two days.
If they are normal issues on a order <25 cards, you might be able to skip them. One time I did skip it though and they delayed it a long, long, long time. It was delayed over a month and this was only 20 cards. I always apply the sticker just because that is what they ask.
You don't need to use their stickers do you ? I see some white stickers in Wal-Mart just slightly larger than the ones you get from PSA. Those will work, right ?
I"ve never put a sticker on a submission, and most of my submissions are handed over at a show or directly at PSA's office. Not once has the person taking in the submission mentioned it.

That is why I spray WD40 on the cards so they will not stick.

I use the 1/2" x 1-1/2" Avery labels and print the submission number and line number on it, then I place it on the top/back of the Card Saver I. I don't leave anything to chance getting put on the problem table. So far so good.
It takes a minute to do, and PSA asks you to do it... so why not just do it? It to track cards and make sure yours don't get mixed up with anyone elses order. I'm sure there have been instances where two back to back orders had the same card or two in it.
I can't imagine submitting a fairly large submission (100 cards or more) without them. But, I use them all the time, even on the small 25 card subs. I use a small program someone contributed on here that prints the sub number and line number on a full sheet of labels, so it takes only a few extra minutes to do this. I'm more comfortable sending my submissions this way.
I always do and think it's a good idea. It's less chance your cards can get misplaced or shipped to someone else. I guess if you're submitting low $ commons there's not much risk in not including them. I do agree though that, by far, this step takes the longest in preparing the submission.
Good day, Can I submit mine with yours. I've been submitting for 5 years, about 5000 cards, and the best I've ever done was once 12 days, then it jumps to about 25 days with 9 out of 10 at 40-45 Business days, and with the Specials I've had it take all of two months Plus. Do you have an In with one of the graders or something !!!!! Neil P.S. And I always do everything that PSA asks and one out of three orders has cards go back due to Wrong Title, Wrong Year, Wrong Company, Wrong Card Number, which is my favorite, since they tell me all orders go through whats called Verification. How anybody can look at A card with a big 29 on the front and the Holder above it says 16 and let it go out to the customer is beyond me !!!!!! Wrong Something. Neil

I know people who have subs of 1000 cards, I would imagine it would be applicable then.
