    Very interestingimagepbfcomics.com

He has an interesting "style" since he doesn't seem to have one. If I didn't know any better I would assume that 20 different people did these.

You have every reason to feel proud, congrats!!image

I don't think anybody realizes how hard I worked to get him to do a coin cartoon. I asked numerous times and he always brushed it off. Finally, when I stopped asking he presented the "Canadian" episode.

Not what I imagined but it worked and was well received.

Any number of stories came from our northern border from US denizens relating the (fairly common) slight shock of realization at unconsciously holding a Canadian coin worth less than imagined; a number of posts from north of the border understanding the irony of a "strong" Canadian coin image.image

Of course, he constructs his strips with more than one interpretation so the reader can realize his/her own outcome.

I always thought I should recommend he submit this one to ANA's magazine but I'll wait until the new "Coin" comes out as a realized publication- anyone know the first date of issue?

If I didn't know any better I would assume that 20 different people did these.

He definitely can adopt any style he wants. I used to watch him faithfully reproduce characters like Spiderman and art styles from Frazetta, Virgil Finlay, etc. when he was fourteen and fifteen. He also just sold a script to Comedy Central for which they paid enough to obtain a very nice MS65/66 Gothic Crown.image

    BTW, he just turned 25.

PBF is freakin' GENIUS. A cult favorite!

I hate seeing hacks like Jim Davis and his Garfeild cartoon limp along year after year. Congrats on the book!

    CONGRATULATIONS!

"Making it" as a cartoonist is as difficult as in any other entertainment field. This is quite an accomplishment. And praise from Scott McCloud and Jim Woodring... wow! Those guys are giants. You have every reason to be proud of your son. He has a rich creative talent.
