so the question is, did the buyer find out after he received the card that it was fake and is trying to pawn it off on another sucker or did he bid, knowing it was a fake, so he could screw someone?

Notice that the seller has stated that he's selling it as authentic, NOT as a reprint.

Maybe he'll pull a fast one like that guy who got featured on the news who sold some dude 2 fake Mantle rookies.

Reporter: We took them to SGC, and they said that these cards are fake.

I told a seller of the fake B/W test once that PSA BGS SGC GAI wont grade it as its fake. He said "Thats just their opinion, they could be wrong."

Bill Mastro says the card is almost certainly a reprint. The P in "PITTSBURG" should be slightly larger than the other letters, he says. It's the same size as the rest. "That's the only discrepancy," Edwards counters. "That's what makes it unique. One of one."
