Ok confused... (re: redemption cards)

Ok guys, I submitted my first redemption cards on 3/27 and I went to UD.com to view the status ~ I came away from this E-Visit with more questions then I started with though... My status:

First off, how long should I expect to wait for something that they have "in hand"? The Crawford card has been out for a year and a half, they are on the secondary market and the site tells me they have them ~ why are they still not shipped? Not a huge deal on this one, just really unsure as to what a normal time-frame on a card they have in stock is.

Secondly, what the heck is going on with the Ultra Johjima card? Can anyone tell me why I'm being told to in essence "be patient, the player told us he is going to be signing real soon" on a NON-AUTO card??? Why would they have a redemption card for a non-auto in the first place, and why would that illogical redemption it then be delayed because he "committed to sign soon"? The card is out so its not like they dont have it in stock, there is even a graded one on Ebay right now ~ whats up with mine? Does anyone have any idea what could be happening here? Just strange...

I know other people have had problems with redemptions in the past and I realize not to expect too much as far as time and sadly even the product as if the wait becomes too long I've been told some people have received different items instead ~ but this whole Johjima thing just makes no sense to me. I mean, maybe I'll get lucky and they changed it to a Auto card instead, but we all know that is unlikely and instead it just looks screwed up ~ I seem to be waiting for a player to sign a card that he isnt going to sign... image

Anyone seen anything like this before?

"Anyone seen anything like this before?" Truthfully, no. However,
regarding the "in house" cards, I guess I was one of the fortunate
redeemers. As far as I can remember, I called in two (maybe three)
redemptions, and they all arrived via FedEx Sig Confirmation within
    8 weeks.

UD has a history of taking forever on redemptions, which appears to be prevailent. Personally, I've been waiting since late January for two cards, and have heard many stories of them taking over a year. Regarding the Johjima, I would call them to try to see what's up with it.

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
