My grandpa is retired from the Navy, and still keeps in touch with many old friends via email. Well one friend that he frequently messages lives in Seattle and asked if his grandson(me) collects sports cards. He is a die hard collector and said he would send me cards I wanted if I provide him with a list of some of my favorite players. I feel bad and it seems like I'm taking advantage of him but I don't want to pass this up. I do think I will do it though. Just wanted to tell some people that would understand this exciting news.

Im ex Navy, in fact I went to Naval Nuclear Power school at the old NTC in Orlando Florida, not to far from you I assume. Alot of good memories on the beaches of Cocoa and Daytona.

I still have alot of ex navy buddies that I would do anything for. I have a friend who lives in Phoenix that I hook up with at least once a year to go to football games, etc


I expect your grandfathers friend feels the same way, and would be honored to help his navy buddies grandson with his card collection. I would take him up on the offer, and just not take advantage of it.
