Ive been collecting Steve largent cards since I was a kid, but also a huge Joe Montana and Jerry Rice fan.

About 6 months ago I realized I had most of the cards necessary for the rushing and receiving leaders, so I started putting that set together as well. And being a glutton for punishment, I think I might make that stretch to the HOF set, who knows.

Welcome. We all were new at one time.

Glad to have another football collector on the boards. Sometimes we are treated like red headed step children.
Don't worry, someday our cards will catch on. Hopefully not too soon. Welcome.

I tried collecting baseball cards when I was in high school,, it just never stuck.

I have been going to Seahawk games since I was 10, and I was hooked. On the other hand, I have fallen asleep at baseball games..... mariners though, go figure

No doubt about it Bender, a good friend of mine collects baseball cards and coins, I collect football cards and presidential land grants. I love his card collection, its all good, I can appreciate it all, but I guess you go with what you love and have passion for. Nostalgic, thats all

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
