Just thought I'd share the weird experience that happened to me today......I was planning on going to check to see if the Braves Clubhouse Store got in the Spring Training game worn jersey's yet. The store is inside the CNN Center. The bus I was going to take leaves at 12:05 and they arrive in Atlanta around 1:00. After I get through MARTA and walking through the city, I usually arrive at CNN around 1:15. I normally spend about 40 minutes in there. At the last minute, I decided to go play baseball with some friends and just wait until tomorrow to go to the Clubhouse store. Well, at 1:20 today, 2 people were shot in the CNN Center right at the entrance doors, killing one and injuring the other. I would've been in there at that same exact time if I had went. It's a really freaky feeling knowing that. Maybe the "Game Used God" simply told my mind to stay home and that the game worn jersey's can come another day

Glad to hear that you're OK. It definitely gives you a new perspective, doesn't it? All these trinkets we collect don't mean anything when compared to life itself.

got to the bottom where the doors are, then shot her 3 times, last shot going to the head. He was only after her. I read more of
the story today. What makes me think she must have been yelling for help if he was pulling her by the hair in the first place, and
no one stood up to help her. It would have then probably been the person to help who would have been shot instead of her. There
was been many times I could have been hurt or killed. If I was 10 seconds early or driving 2-3 miles faster I would have been in
a massive auto accident.

Thought they just propped him up while someone stuck a hand in his back to operate his mouth.
His latest blockbuster in depth interview, with Bob Woodruff(?) the ABC anchor who was shot in Iraq.
Imagine King's gruff voice with the NY accent. These were his first questions.
King: So, did ya think ya bought it?
Woodruff: Uh, yeah.
King: Did it hurt?

That's what I was wondering about. What were they fighting about to make him SHOOT his girlfriend? Is "sorry but we can't be together anymore" just too hard for him to say? so he just shoots her instead? It's all crazy
