How about a request thread for new PSA services???

I thought it would be nice to see what others thought services or additional services they would like to see from PSA.

Altered cards: Evid of Trimming, Recolored
-These cards have a market. The member still gets charged. I think they should be slabbed and sent to the member.

Sheet cut cards
-Should also be holdered and identified as sheet cut

"Other" issues
-I would like to see these slabbed and identified as "authentic"
Examples are Nestle, Ralston Purina, and what ever others

"Authentic"
-Though we have seen some cards slabbed and identified as authentic, I would like to see that expanded instead of the cards
not being slabbed. Example are proof cards.

Wrapper grading
-Would love to see a slab made and grading for wrappers. There are lots of wrapper collectors out there. I would love to own a nice slabbed 1936 Goudey wrapper in my collection! It would also authenticate the wrapper.


Those are all just the ones off the top of my head....anyone else have thoughts? Being that PSA's business is authentication, I think these would be an asset to collectors, our collections, and our hobby.

Maybe the powers that be will read this thread and consider some suggestions.

Those are some great ideas! I especially agree about the altered cards. I just had a beautiful Garvey rookie that came back as recolored. They even used stickers to point out that all 4 corners had been colored. I don't see it but I believe them. Bottom line, I would like that card holdered. Good ideas!

Grading services do this for recolored comics and for cleaned (polished?) coins. They change the color of the flip and grade it accordingly I believe. I think you have some good ideas.

Maybe allow anybody to have custom collection name included on the labels? I mean sentimental value goes a LONG way in this hobby and it sucks that the option is only for EPIC collecters/collections.
