Can't see how anybody with cerebral palsy would need spinal fusion? Maybe there's some medical people here who would obviously know more than me, but without scoliosis I can't see the need.

My wife's little brother just had spinal fusion, he has muscular dystrophy and his muscles weren't strong enough any more for him to sit up in a wheelchair. It's kind of a funny in a way story but bringing him home from the hospital we found out that with the fusion he was 4" taller and he bangs his head on the wheelchair van going in or out now. We found out the hard way when he got stuck the first time.

Anyway pretty sure it's a scam. People shouldn't joke or make fun of disabilities. Never know when somebody you know gets sick.

Do a google search on "cerebral palsy" and "spinal fusion" and you'll get a bunch of hits. I guess spinal fusion helps correct problems caused by some forms of cerebral palsy, especially when scoliosis is involved.

Oh good god that seller is based right here in New London, CT where I work each day. I should bid just to find out where the hell he is and see if it's for real.

It would be torture to make him be a Yankees Fan, but it would probably be just as hellacious to make him be a Royals fan. image

EDIT: The ebay ID (whslancer) tells me that he probably lives on the Waterford side of New London since WHS is Waterford High School and they are the "Lancers". The individual put his phone number in his "My World" page so I'm beginning to think that it's not a scam and he is "for real".
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.
