It's Austrian Milan 1 Crocione (Kronenthaler) of Francis II, C#59.1
    VG $25
    F $40
    Vf $80
    XF $165

    3Mark
I'm traveling on memory and running out of fuel.
  • It is listed in my old Craig catalog under the Italian state of Milan, "types of the Austrian Netherlands". It is a "crocione", whatever that is (I assume that is it's denomination).

Sorry, I had a brain flash of some kind containing the following scene:

an internet world that charged or paid the questioner for every question based on level of response from internet users (fraction of a penny, penny, maybe a nickel depending on complexity of question).

A good question lightly or wrongly answered might make you money, an uninformed or easily answered question might cost you a few pennies, depending...image Imagine receiving an internet charge of $.02 for a wrong answer given by you to a forum member, a portion of that charge reverting to the OP.

    There's a plot there, somewhere.
