peyton manning 1998 auto playoff contender overpriced?

At $2,500, do you think this card is over priced? I've seen 3 sell on e-bay from $2,300 to $2,500. Thinking it might go down when the super bowl hype calms down. There are only 200 of these so if he wins another super bowl it might really take off. what do you think? I have 2 of these and thinking of selling. thanks

    Or, he could blow out a knee in a preseason game, and go the route of Culpepper, and then they would be go for $200.
    Unfortunately, you never know these things. The future can't be seen (unless you have one of those really cool DeLorean Time Machine deals), so predicting the perfect time to sell is impossible. Waiting for another Super Bowl, MVP, retirement, HOF, or records may have you waiting forever. It may not happen.

    What were they selling for at the beginning of last season, before the Super Bowl, immediately after the Super Bowl, etc? Considering it is a rookie, I assume it will always sell for top dollar. You *should* be fine whether you sell or hold for a while.

    Just my $0.02.
