Collecting Milestone, Over 1000 Different Steve Young Cards

Not near the milestone of some of this board but with purchases made today, I now have over 1,000 different Steve Young cards.
I counted all the Steve Young cards in my albums today, added those in PSA holders not in the album and the 6 cards in Starting Lineup figures and I have 983 Different Steve Young cards. So after purchasing a 100+ lot today with at least 8 I didn't have in it, and picking up 10 off Sport Lots (1995 Topps Jaguars Inaugural editions and Wild Card stripes) I now have over 1000 different Steve Young cards. I also have a couple proofs coming (through the Beckett store) for extra clearance...;^)
A little history on the cards...
I stared collecting Steve Young in 1995 along with Dan Marino. Young cards where always cool because they were a lot cheaper then the Marinos, and would often sell for a fraction of book, 10-15% has been common and still is today to a bargin shopper (like me). I quit collecting until eBay started and sold all my Dan Marino cards (at very good prices then) purchased a few more Young cards, left the hobby again. The next time I looked up Steve Young the Jersey cards where everywhere...around 2001, purchased a few of these neat "Game Used" cards and various others, left the hobby again. About a year ago, I started playing around with PSA cards, purchased a few more and then this last month I picked up perhaps the last 80-100.
Anyway, that is the brief history of my Steve Young card collection. If someone has access to the Beckett player list, could they tell me how many Beckett has listed? With the modern age 1 of 1's (not to mention all those cool Heritage cards I've seen on eBay) I will never have all of them, but working on a player set has been a great overall experience.
Amazingly, I am still missing quite a few cards. Finding ones I am missing is not hard. I will likely continue to lowball the large eBay lots with at least 2-3 cards I don’t have. Then I can add a couple, upgrade a couple and perhaps get all or most my money back…or at least that’s the ideal…;^)
